SOVEREIGN MILITARY ORDER OF MALTA, 1A. A large group of operators will be QRV as 1A0KM from January 2 to 7. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters. QSL via IK0FTA.
WESTERN MALAYSIA, 9M2. Rich, PA0RRS will be QRV as 9M2MRS from Pinang, IOTA AS-015, from December 31 to February 23. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW, RTTY and PSK. QSL to home call.
PAKISTAN, AP. Ijaz, AP2IA has been QRV using RTTY on 15 meters around 0745z. QSL direct to home call. SPAIN, EA. Beginning January 1, Spanish stations have limited use of 60 meters for six months. The allowable frequencies are 5268, 5295, 5313, 5382, 5430 and 5439 kHz.
NORWAY, LA. During all of 2014, Norwegian LA stations may use the LI prefix and LB stations may use the LJ prefix in celebration of 200 years of the Norwegian Constitution. In addition, special event station LM1814 will be active as part of the celebration. QSL via LA2G.
DENMARK, OZ. Special event station 5P14EHC will be QRV from January 1 to 31 to commemorate the European Men's Handball Championship in Denmark that runs from January 12 to 26. QSO direct to OZ0J.
BONAIRE, PJ4. Bill, K9HZ is QRV as PJ4/K9HZ until January 1. Activity is on 80 to 6 meters. QSL direct to home call.
BRAZIL, PY. Raimundo, PT7CG and Renner, PY7RP are QRV as ZX8DX from Pedra do Sal Beach on Grande de Santa Isabel Island, IOTA SA-025, until December 30. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via PT7CG.
WESTERN SAHARA, S0. Mahfoud, S01MZ has been QRV on 20 meters using SSB around 2145 to 2300z. QSL via EA1BT.
POLAND, SP. Special event station HF2013PLL is QRV to commemorate Lublin's new airport. QSL via SP8KEZ. In addition, special event stations SO110RAEM and HF110RAEM are QRV until December 31 to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the birth of RAEM, Ernst T. Krenkel. QSL via SP2FAP and SP3GVX, respectively.
PALAU, T8. Look for JH0IXE to be QRV as T8CW until January 6. Activity is on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and PSK. QSL to home call.
ANTARCTICA. A group of operators are QRV as RI1ANR from the Russian Antarctic Novolazarevskaya base until April 6. Activity is on all bands. QSL via RK1PWA. NAMIBIA, V5. Dietmar, DL3DXX is QRV as V5/DL3DXX until January 8. He will be QRV as V55V in the Stew Perry 160 Meter contest. QSL both calls to home call.
LAOS, XW. Champ, E21EIC is QRV as XW0YJY from Vientiane until December 31. Activity is on the HF bands using mainly RTTY. He will try to be active again on 160 meters as well. QSL direct to home call.
SPECIAL EVENT STATION. W100AW, ARRL HQ Station. Look for special call W100AW to begin operations from the ARRL Headquarters Maxim Memorial Station at 0500Z on 1 January. The ARRL Straight Key Night, AGB New Year Snowball Contest, QRP Fox Hunt, 0200Z-0330Z, Jan 1 SARTG New Year RTTY Contest, AGCW Happy New Year Contest and the AGCW VHF/UHF Contest are all scheduled for January 1.
