PAKISTAN, AP. Tariq, AP2TN has been active on 30 meters around 2000z. QSL via DJ9ZB.
COMOROS, D6. A group of operators will be QRV as D64K from Ngazidja Island, IOTA AF-007, from August 8 to 21. Activity will be on 160 to 6 meters, and possibly 60 meters, using CW, SSB and RTTY with five stations. QSL via IV3DSH.
FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA. Special event station DR50DTANGO is QRV until the end of 2012 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Swabia district. QSL via bureau.

The ARRL UHF Contest, North American CW QSO Party, 10-10 International SSB Summer Contest, European HF Championship, QRP CW Fox Hunt, NCCC CW Sprint Ladder, TARA Grid Dip Shindig and the RSGB RoPoCo CW are all on tap for this weekend. The ARS Spartan CW Sprint is scheduled for August 7. The CWops Mini-CWT Test and NAQCC-EU Monthly Sprint are scheduled for August 8.
