SPRATLY ISLANDS. John, 9M6XRO and Steve, 9M6DXX will be QRV as
9M4SLL from Pulau Layang Layang, IOTA AS-051, from August 7 to 13.
Activity will be on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY with two
stations. QSL via M0URX.

PAKISTAN, AP. Tariq, AP2TN has been active on 30 meters around
2000z. QSL via DJ9ZB.

COMOROS, D6. A group of operators will be QRV as D64K from Ngazidja
Island, IOTA AF-007, from August 8 to 21. Activity will be on 160
to 6 meters, and possibly 60 meters, using CW, SSB and RTTY with
five stations. QSL via IV3DSH.

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA. Special event station DR50DTANGO
is QRV until the end of 2012 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of
the Swabia district. QSL via bureau.

ENGLAND, G. Special event station GB2012OSP is QRV until September
9 during the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events from
Portland Heights. QSL direct.

ST. LUCIA, J6. Bill, K9HZ will be QRV as J68HZ from Labrelotte
Bay/Castries from August 4 to 19. Activity will be on 40 to 6
meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL direct to home call.

ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. Pasi, OH3WS is QRV as OH0/OH3WS from Eckero
until August 3. Activity is in his spare time. QSL to home call.

MARKET REEF, OJ0. After his Aland operation, Pasi, OH3WS will be
QRV as OJ0W from August 4 to 10. Activity will be in his spare
time. QSL to home call.

LEBANON, OD. Special event station OD5ARMY is QRV during August in
celebration of the founding of the Lebanese Army. QSL via OD5NJ.

DODECANESE, SV5. Roberto, I2RNJ and Piero, IK2IHY will be QRV as
SV5/home calls from Rhodos, IOTA EU-001, from August 4 to 11.
Activity will be holiday style on the HF bands using mostly SSB.

COSTA RICA, TI. Bob, N6OPR and Terry, N0TW are QRV as TI5/K6MQ from
Tarimba until August 8. Activity is on the HF bands. This includes
an entry in the 10-10 International SSB Summer contest. QSL via
N0TW.

CORSICA, TK. Giacomo, IZ3DBA will be QRV as TK/IZ3DBA from August 7
to 12. Activity will be on the HF bands using primarily CW with
some SSB. QSL to home call.

BENIN, TY. Patrice, TY2BP has been active on 15 meters using CW
around 1330z. QSL via IK2IQD.

EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA. Special event station R1812SM is QRV during
August from various battlefields in the Smolensk region to
commemorate the 200th anniversary of the French invasion. QSL via
RV3LZ. In addition, special event station R10RLHA is QRV during
August to celebrate the 10th jubilee of the Russian Lighthouses
Award program. Activity is from several lighthouses. Activity is
on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via RA1QY.

CANADA, VE. Special event station XL31812 is QRV until August 5
from Fort Amherstburg to commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of
1812. QSL via VA3CSS.

NICARAGUA, YN. Ben, TI4SU is QRV as HT9H to commemorate the 250th
anniversary of the Battle of the Rio San Juan. QSL to home call.

ROMANIA, YO. Special event station YQ0BIKE is QRV until August 12
during the Cycling tour of Szeklerland. Activity is on the HF bands
using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL via operators'
instructions.

ALBANIA, ZA. Tevfik, TA1HZ is QRV as ZA1TC from Durres until August
7. This includes an entry in the European HF Championship. QSL to
home call.

OPERATION APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT. The following operation is
approved for DXCC credit: Solomon Island, H44UD, 2012 operation.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The ARRL UHF Contest, North American CW
QSO Party, 10-10 International SSB Summer Contest, European HF
Championship, QRP CW Fox Hunt, NCCC CW Sprint Ladder, TARA Grid Dip
Shindig and the RSGB RoPoCo CW are all on tap for this weekend. The
ARS Spartan CW Sprint is scheduled for August 7. The CWops Mini-CWT
Test and NAQCC-EU Monthly Sprint are scheduled for August 8. Please
